Apheresis
Apheresis is a process that collects blood, separates it into its various components, and returns the healthy parts of the blood back into the body. It can be used to collect stem cells for use in a bone marrow transplant, or to remove excess white blood cells for those with leukemia. Apheresis is conducted in our Infusion Center and can be performed by using IV lines or with a catheter that has several channels.
